Xiaomi Smartphone Warranty Problem

On August 8, 2023, I contacted Xiaomi because the battery in my phone had swollen. They assured me the warranty covered the swelling and gave me Genpa's Bursa address and a return number. On August 10, 2023, I sent the phone for free. At 14:32 on August 11, 2023, I received a message confirming the phone's receipt. Another message asked for a verification code, which I provided. They confirmed that the phone had been accepted and that repairs had begun. At 17:22, I received a message demanding 1,443 tl for warranty repairs. When I called Genpa, they insisted that I had sent the incorrect phone and that they couldn't cover it under warranty. Despite my explanations, they maintained their error claim. They refused to confirm whether the phone was turned on during the evaluation. When I mentioned the battery problem, they said they would replace the frame but not the phone because it was out of warranty. They mocked me and threatened to charge me for a phone I sent in with a valid warranty claim. I demand that Xiaomi Turkey handle this situation properly.
