On April 14, 2022, I purchased the Xiaomi Vacuum Mop Pro robot vacuum from Vatan Bilgisayar. I had to send it in for warranty service due to issues such as map loss. To my surprise, they claimed that the device's radar and sensors had been damaged by impact and demanded around 3000 TL in repairs. In total, I've only used or not used the device about 15 times. They mentioned pets and children as possible perpetrators, but I don't have any children, and their advertisement specifically targeted pet owners, so this excuse seems strange. When the robot cleans, it is kept in a closed room with my kitten, and it has never caused any issues. I get the impression that the service is simply blaming everything on the pet's fur. Other people I know use products from unknown brands without problems, but Xiaomi, a supposedly reputable brand, has been disappointing. I demand that the vacuum be replaced rather than repaired. Otherwise, I'll escalate this to Consumer Rights and share my experience, including the pet owner targeting claim, on social media. Xiaomi, please improve your quality and customer service!
