Repeated Failures and Poor Service for Xiaomi Lydsto Robot Vacuum Cleaner

On December 28, 2023, I purchased a Xiaomi Lydsto Robot Vacuum Cleaner R1D White from the Xiaomi store in Antalya Özdilek AVM. Since then, the device has broken down three times, and Evofone Bilgi Tekn. San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. (Tax ID: 2710750486) has supposedly repaired it each time.

The first issue was a water pump failure, which they claimed was user error and charged me ₺2000 for the repair (does a user even know where the water pump is to damage it?). I paid the amount. The second issue was a fan failure, for which they charged ₺1000, again stating it was user error due to dust exposure (isn't it normal for a vacuum cleaner to encounter dust?). I paid for this as well.

When I tried to set up the device after the third repair, it gave a Wi-Fi connection error, so I sent it back for service around June 15. On July 11, 2024, they finally contacted me, saying there was an issue with the brushes and demanded ₺2100. I declined the replacement, and the device stayed there for over a month without any updates, even beyond the legal response period.

I want to clearly state that in addition to the ₺7800 I paid for the device 1.5 years ago, I have spent an additional ₺3000 on service, transportation costs, and they wanted another ₺2100 for brush replacement. Most importantly, I was unable to use the device for a total of 3 months.
