I purchased a brand new Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro phone, and I charge it overnight. Surprisingly, without any usage, the battery level drops from 100% to around 87% on its own. When I contacted Xiaomi customer service regarding this device issue, they claimed it was normal during the first 14 days. That was the first lie they told me. After a couple of days, I called again, and they advised me to clear the cache of certain apps on the device, but there was no improvement. They insisted on sending the device for repair even though it was only a month old. I requested a refund, but the Vodafone store in Kayseri Mall, where I purchased the phone, refused to accept the return, stating that it had to be sent for repairs. The device was sent to Xiaomi Evofone, the official distributor in Turkey, and they claimed to have fixed a software issue. I received the phone back and started using it, but after just 10 days, the same problem occurred. I charge the phone overnight and place it beside me, only to wake up and find the battery at around 87% again. Enough is enough! Either take back this faulty device or I will take this matter to the Consumer Arbitration Board. Stop deceiving people. Xiaomi is a regrettable choice, so save your money and stay away.
