Unable to Reclaim Canceled Domain on WordPress After One Week
About a month ago, I started building a website on WordPress and purchased a domain name for the project. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I decided to close the site and cancel the domain. A few days later, I chose to rebuild the website on a different platform and attempted to repurchase my domain name, only to find that it was still listed as taken.
I contacted WordPress support, explaining that I had canceled the domain and was unable to use it elsewhere. They informed me that it would take a few more days for the domain to become available again. Despite waiting over a week, I am still unable to purchase my domain through another platform.
This delay is causing significant inconvenience, and I am requesting immediate assistance to resolve the issue. WordPress needs to expedite the process so I can regain access to my domain name.
