WordPress Refused to Transfer Unused Subscription Funds to a New Product

5

I purchased a 2-year web hosting plan from WordPress but couldn’t use it for the first 4 months. Frustrated, I requested to switch to a different product, expecting the remaining 20 months of my unused subscription to be credited as a discount. However, WordPress declined, leaving me paying for a service I haven’t used. Their response was dismissive, even comparing the situation to renting an apartment—an irrelevant and unhelpful analogy. Why should I pay for something I cannot utilize? WordPress, I demand fair treatment and the option to apply my remaining subscription funds toward a new product. This level of customer service is unacceptable, and I need a resolution immediately.
