WhatsApp Setup Stuck on “Waiting for Device” Error on Xiaomi Redmi Note 14

I recently purchased a Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 and have been trying to set up WhatsApp on my new phone, but for the past day I keep receiving the error “waiting for device during setup.” I have already tried all the basic troubleshooting steps, including uninstalling and reinstalling the app, restarting the phone, and switching internet connections, but none of these resolved the problem. I also reported the issue to WhatsApp customer service via email, but I have not received any response. My account does not have backup or two-step verification enabled, and the error only occurs when starting the setup on my new device, preventing me from using WhatsApp at all. I request that this issue be resolved as soon as possible so I can use WhatsApp smoothly on my new phone.
