WhatsApp Security Breach - Unsolicited Financial Message Raises Concerns
On July 20, 2024, I received an unsolicited WhatsApp message from the number +52 1 663 360 6520. The message read: "Jay, your financial account has been added. Account: Csy926 Password: wy9886 USDT Balance: 1,400,086.50 EUR: 592,080.92 [eausdo.com] Please keep this information in a secure place."
I want to emphasize that I have no connection whatsoever with this number or individual. I immediately blocked the number without responding to the message. I am absolutely filing a complaint about this incident.
This situation has left me feeling violated and concerned about my privacy and security. I categorically deny any responsibility if my account information is compromised, my phone number is used or spread, my WhatsApp information is distributed, or if any debts are incurred in my name. All responsibility lies with WhatsApp for allowing this breach of security.
WhatsApp should be held accountable for any investigations or debts that may arise in my name as a result of this incident. I do not accept any responsibility for the ease with which these individuals were able to obtain my number.
