WhatsApp Privacy Violation: Random +91 Message Without My Consent
On January 17, 2025, I received a WhatsApp call from a number with the +91 country code. After checking online, I discovered that this code belongs to India—a country with which I have no personal or business connections. I found this unsolicited call extremely disturbing, raising serious concerns about my privacy and data security.
I immediately blocked the number, but I demand answers. How did my phone number end up in the hands of an unknown caller? If my account information has been compromised, my number misused without consent, or any of my personal data (messages, photos, etc.) accessed, I hold WhatsApp fully responsible. Should my number be exploited for fraudulent activities like unauthorized purchases, company registration, or debt in my name, I will not accept any liability.
WhatsApp must take urgent action to secure user data and prevent unauthorized access. I expect a prompt response addressing this serious security issue!
