I Received a Suspicious WhatsApp Call from an Unknown +62 Number and Demand Action
Today, I received a suspicious voice call on WhatsApp from a number starting with the +62 country code: +62 822 4600 09**. After a quick online search, I found that this number is based in Indonesia. I want to make it very clear—I have no personal or business connection with anyone in that country. This unsolicited call was extremely alarming and has left me feeling unsafe.
Out of caution, I have blocked the number immediately. But I am deeply concerned that my personal phone number may have been leaked or compromised. I now fear potential misuse of my personal information including account breaches, identity theft, financial fraud, or being unknowingly linked to unauthorized activities like company registration or online purchases.
I formally reject all liability should any such unauthorized action be attempted under my name, and I hold WhatsApp fully responsible for the consequences. This incident is not just an invasion of privacy—it is a serious security breach that must be addressed.
