On October 10, 2025, I received a WhatsApp message from a number starting with +91, which I later learned is from India. I have no personal or business relationship with that country. I did not open the message and immediately blocked the sender. There has been no suspicious activity or unauthorized access on my account so far, and I have not yet contacted WhatsApp Support. This is the first time I’ve encountered such an issue.
I am concerned about potential risks such as the theft or misuse of my personal information, or my identity being used to open a company, make purchases, or create financial obligations. Currently, I do not have two-step verification enabled on my account. My device is a Redmi Note 10.
I request that WhatsApp secure my account and take all necessary measures to prevent similar suspicious incidents in the future.
