On March 21, 2025, around 12:00 PM, I received a WhatsApp message from a number starting with +44 7438 2624—which I verified is a UK-based number. The person claimed they were messaging me regarding a shoe listing I had posted on Sahibinden.com, a local Turkish classifieds site.
When I asked whether they had contacted me through Sahibinden, their responses didn’t feel right, and the entire exchange raised red flags. I have no personal or business connection with anyone in the UK. The conversation made me very uncomfortable, so I immediately blocked and reported the number.
I am officially filing a complaint. If my WhatsApp account, phone number, private messages, photos, or any other personal data are misused, accessed without permission, or used for scams, fraud, or debts, I will not accept any responsibility. WhatsApp will be fully accountable.
