I Face Suspicious WhatsApp Call From Nigerian Number On My Account

On September 7, 2025, at 15:41, I received a WhatsApp call from +234 7086043521, which has a Nigerian country code. I have no personal, business, or professional connection to Nigeria, so I immediately considered this call suspicious. I blocked the number right away to prevent further contact.

I want to make it clear that I will not accept any responsibility if my personal information is misused, my WhatsApp account is accessed without my consent, or if any financial transactions, debts, or activities are carried out in my name as a result of such calls.

I am requesting WhatsApp to:

Secure my account and ensure no unauthorized access occurs.

Investigate and permanently block this suspicious Nigerian number.

Provide a clear update and explanation regarding the steps taken to prevent these incidents.
