WhatsApp Message from +234 Number Made Me Worried About Privacy and Security
On Sunday, March 3, 2025, I received a message on WhatsApp that simply said "hello." When I looked up the phone number with the country code +234, I found out it belongs to Nigeria. I have no personal or business connections with this country, and this situation made me very uncomfortable. I have blocked the sender's number and the message. I am absolutely filing a complaint. I declare that I do not accept any responsibility if my account information is compromised, my phone number is used without my consent, or if my personal information, messages, and photos are accessed. Additionally, I will not be held accountable if a company is established in my name, purchases are made, or debts are incurred on my behalf. All responsibility lies with WhatsApp.
