WeTransfer Continued Billing Despite Subscription Cancellation
I started a subscription on WeTransfer only to use the free trial version. After the free trial period ended, I canceled the subscription through my account because I did not want to continue with the paid version. However, despite canceling the subscription on time, approximately $27 was charged from my card about one week later under the description “WeTransfer payment fee.”
The card used for this transaction belongs to my mother, and the email address registered to my WeTransfer account is d********@hotmail.com. I believe it is unfair to be charged after canceling the subscription within the required time period. In addition, I have been unable to find any customer support service or clear communication channel where I can request a refund or discuss the issue directly.
Even though I canceled my subscription, I request that the approximately $27 charged from the card be refunded to the cardholder as soon as possible and that no future renewal or additional payment be taken through my account again.
