WeTransfer Subscription Price Increased Without Notice or Approval

Last year, I paid $228 for my annual WeTransfer subscription. However, this year, without any approval, notification, or consent from me, the annual fee was increased to $1,990 and charged to my credit card on April 10, 2026. This amount represents an excessive price increase and was taken without being clearly communicated to me.

As soon as I noticed the charge, I contacted WeTransfer support via email, but I have not received any response so far. I also contacted my bank, initiated a refund request, and canceled my card for security reasons. Afterward, I canceled my WeTransfer subscription as well.

I request a full refund of the $1,990 that was charged without my consent and at an unreasonable rate. I expect this issue to be resolved urgently and that proper measures are taken to prevent similar situations from happening again.
