Western Union Support Asked for More Money Instead of Fixing My Transfer Issue
On October 2, 2025, I made a money transfer through Western Union using mobile banking. The amount I sent was successfully received by the recipient’s account, but even though payment was issued on their end, the money was never collected — and no refund has been made to me either. The last four digits of my IBAN number are 4626.
When I contacted Western Union customer service to resolve the issue, instead of offering a solution, they requested additional payment from me. I was also contacted by an employee named A K***********, but again, no resolution was provided. This situation has caused me significant inconvenience and completely undermined my trust in the service. This is the first time I’ve experienced such a problem.
I request that Western Union immediately investigate this issue, refund the amount I sent, and take necessary measures to prevent similar cases from happening again.
