Western Union Failed to Deliver My Money Transfer from the US
I received a money transfer through Western Union from the United States. However, when I went to collect the money, I was told it had already been withdrawn. I immediately contacted customer service, and they informed me that a case number had been opened, camera footage would be reviewed, and that it was likely an error. They assured me the money would be refunded.
The initial timeframe given was 15 days, but it has now been two months. This process has been ongoing since May, and when I called today, they told me the money had been withdrawn and they couldn't help me further. I promised them that without any camera footage, documentation, or receipt, I wouldn't let this go.
I'm determined to spend five times the amount sent to pursue this case. I feel humiliated in front of my fiancé, and starting Monday, I'll be filing complaints everywhere possible. Not only have they taken my money, but they've also put me in a position where I feel accused of theft.
