Weewell Baby Monitor Socket Failed Five Times During the Warranty Period
Approximately two years ago, I purchased a Weewell baby monitor. Due to a repeatedly recurring socket failure, I have had to send the device to the authorized service center five times during the warranty period. In fact, during one of my previous service visits, while the camera socket was being repaired, the monitor socket was returned to me damaged, forcing me to send the device back to the service center once again.
My device is currently at the service center for the fifth time. This time, the company is claiming that I “forced the socket and caused the motherboard to burn” and is demanding a repair fee on the basis of alleged user error. I absolutely do not accept being held responsible for this chronic socket failure, which the authorized service center has repeatedly failed to permanently resolve throughout the process.
Pursuant to Turkey’s Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the Warranty Certificate Regulation, I request that my rights as a consumer be honored because the same defect has occurred repeatedly during the warranty period. I request that the product be replaced with a new one free of charge or that the full purchase price be refunded. Otherwise, I hereby inform you that I will file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee and submit the five service reports in my possession as evidence.
