Vrbo Host Canceled Reservation After Arrival

On March 26th, I booked a beautiful home in Austin for a stay with my family. However, a mere 5 minutes after meeting the host, they abruptly canceled our reservation, claiming it was due to our four children. After the host vanished, I reached out to Vrbo customer service and dedicated a total of 4 hours to resolving the problem on my own. By the conclusion of the call, they assured me of a complete refund, yet failed to provide any resolution for my accommodation. It was an unpleasant experience, and we ended up staying at a place arranged through Airbnb, which turned out to be satisfactory and cost-effective. I promptly canceled my membership and have no intention of using Vrbo in the future.
