Airbnb Rental Misrepresented, Host Promised Refund but Now Unresponsive
I booked a 4-night stay through Airbnb, but when we arrived, the property looked nothing like the photos. The furniture was outdated, and while the listing appeared to show a single-story home, it turned out to be a 3-story building. We only stayed one night and informed the host that we wanted to leave. The host assured us of a refund, so we arranged alternative accommodation at a nearby hotel. When I followed up with the host a couple of days later, he claimed he would contact Airbnb and get back to me on Monday. Since then, he hasn’t answered any calls or messages. I have also reached out to Airbnb multiple times but haven’t received any support or response. I need Airbnb to address this issue urgently and ensure I receive the promised refund.
