I Face Host Cancellation on Airbnb During Stay With No Alternative Provided

I made a reservation through Airbnb and began my stay, but to my shock, the host canceled the booking while my family and I were already at the property. I am traveling with my children, and despite this unexpected and serious situation, Airbnb failed to provide any alternative accommodation. I am now left without a place to stay, and my flight is tomorrow.

Airbnb’s only response was to issue a $300 coupon and leave the responsibility of finding a new place entirely to me. This is unacceptable given the severity of the situation and the stress it has caused. As a first-time Airbnb user, I expected better support and protection during such an emergency. Instead, I experienced a lack of care and practical assistance when I needed it most.

I kindly request Airbnb to urgently review this matter and provide a proper resolution, including arranging safe and suitable accommodation for the remainder of my trip. Please take this complaint seriously and ensure that no other family faces the same distress in the future.
