Vivint Pricing Is Confusing! Is Installation Free Or Not?

Vivint's website is kinda all over the place when it comes to pricing, it says the installation fee is somewhere between $199 and $250, but some people say it was free for them, why the range? Just tell me the price upfront! Even if it’s not free. there's no way of knowing when those deals might pop up, I have to gamble and wait around for a good price, which isn't cool. Wouldn't it be easier if Vivint just had one clear price for installation, and maybe offered some actual sales or discounts you could plan for? That way, I (and everyone else) would know exactly what we're getting into. Seems way more fair and straightforward.
