Vio.com Refuses Hotel Date Change and Refund Request
On 14.05.2026, I made a hotel reservation via Vio.com with the reservation number 260514175889463185 for Avist Hotel Avcilar. By mistake, I booked the stay for check‑in on 22 May and check‑out on 23 May, whereas the dates we actually wanted were check‑in on 21 May and check‑out on 22 May. Right after noticing the mistake, we requested a date change, but we were not given any assistance. We were informed that if we cancelled, the amount we paid, ₺973.20, would not be refunded. In this situation, a simple correction of the dates is not being made, and at the same time we are told that the entire payment will be forfeited. When we spoke with the hotel, they stated that they could not intervene in the reservation and that the authority lies with Vio.com. Vio.com, on the other hand, again stated that they did not have the authority and did not take any responsibility. I request that the payment we made not be lost and that our reservation dates be corrected to check‑in on 21 May and check‑out on 22 May, or, if this is not possible, that the full amount we paid, ₺973.20 be refunded.
