VFS Global Changed My Tourist Visa to Professional by System Error and Rejected It

I am writing to report a serious issue regarding my visa application dated July 21, 2025. I attempted to book an appointment under the “tourist: première demande” category through your system and completed the process after checking everything multiple times. However, due to the system being overloaded and slow, the appointment category somehow changed to “professional: première demande” without my knowledge. I believe this was entirely due to a technical error on your end, as I had prepared all my documents for a tourist visa application, and I am certain that I selected the correct category when logging in. At my appointment on July 21, despite explaining the situation multiple times to the VFS staff and showing that all my documents were appropriate for a tourist visa, my application was rejected. I had spent days trying to get this appointment, and since the system is not opening any new slots, I have been unable to reschedule for another date. All my documents are ready, the tour package has already been purchased, and my flight tickets and hotel reservations have been made. Other people joining the same tour have already received their visas, all payments have been completed, and I have taken annual leave from work. My travel date is August 5, 2025, and I will return on August 12, 2025. My flight on August 5 is scheduled for 07:30, and the ticket is confirmed. The rejection of this application is in no way due to any mistake on my part. I have been victimized by a system error. With just a few days left until my trip, I will report you everywhere for this selfish behavior, and I will also make sure to reclaim the appointment fee you unjustly charged me for a service you did not provide.
