For approximately the past three months, I have been trying multiple times a day to book Bulgaria Schengen visa appointments through the VFS Global Turkey portal for Bulgaria (Edirne application center). However, I constantly encounter either “system error” messages or “no appointments available” notifications.
When I log in using my email address gzcay***@gmail.com, the system either crashes, shows no available dates, or after several attempts blocks my access or terminates my session, preventing me from moving forward in the process. My spouse, my daughter, and I have all been trying to secure appointments, and none of us have been able to find any available dates.
While individual applicants like us are unable to secure appointments, intermediary agencies are reportedly able to obtain appointments within about a week in exchange for €300–500. This creates a strong perception that certain individuals or agencies may be purchasing appointment slots or receiving advance notice of availability, while ordinary applicants are effectively excluded from the system. There does not appear to be a transparent, predictable, or fair appointment process for individual applicants.
I have sent numerous emails to VFS Global regarding this issue, but I have only received generic technical responses such as “try again after half an hour” or “clear your cookies,” which do not resolve the problem. As a result, I am experiencing a serious loss of time, and since I cannot even begin the visa application process, I feel that my freedom to travel is being restricted.
My primary request is that VFS Global urgently provide Bulgaria Schengen visa appointments for me, my spouse, and my daughter at the Edirne center, and that a fair, transparent, and accessible appointment system be established for individual applicants. I also request that the concentration of appointments in the hands of intermediary agencies be investigated, that system errors and unfair practices be eliminated, and that a clear explanation be provided regarding how and when appointments are released so that individual applicants can access them under equal conditions.
