I Bought Vestel SM 70 G Vacuum and It Does Not Wet the Mops Automatically
Before purchasing the Vestel SM 70 G cordless upright vacuum cleaner that both mops and vacuums, I watched its videos on the company’s official website. Since I couldn’t gather enough information, I called customer service to ask about its technical operation. I also consulted the authorized dealer and service center in my area. No one could answer my question, and instead, they provided incorrect or incomplete information, claiming that the product dispenses water itself for mopping. I trusted their words and purchased the product. After setting it up and testing it, I found that the mops did not get wet on their own as claimed. I contacted the authorized personnel again, and they told me it might be a manufacturing defect and replaced the vacuum with a brand-new one. It was clear and obvious that they had no real knowledge about the product. The new machine arrived, and the same issue persisted. I contacted the authorized personnel again and waited two days for the technical team to respond. On top of everything, there are also R&D-related problems. Since no one got back to me, I followed up and expressed my frustration. Eventually, a Vestel representative who personally used the machine called me and said that the cleaning is done manually by spraying water from the water gun on the device. For a product sold at this price, requiring manual spraying is not acceptable, and Vestel’s promotional videos are misleading and incomplete for potential buyers. The videos were made to appear similar to other brands’ automatic functionality, which is deceptive. I request a full return and refund for the product. Only three days passed between receiving the product and initiating the return. They claim they don’t accept returns of used products, but it's impossible to understand the product's functions without opening the box and testing it, especially when even the company representatives can’t provide accurate information over the phone or in the videos. This product is nothing but a disappointment.

After receiving a yes answer to the features I asked about, I purchased your product. However, the product I received was not as described due to misleading answers. After experiencing issues, I called both your customer service and the dealer again, but when I was told that a return was not possible, I shared my complaint on this site. If my return process is not completed, I will also apply to official authorities. I also conveyed this to your customer service representative, and I received a response like 'as you wish.' The Vestel SM 70G vacuum cleaner does not have the promised features. Its price policy is expensive for a manual wetting system and cannot be compared with other brands; it is not in the same category. Vestel suppliers and technical team have no knowledge about the product. They say, 'Should we throw away this product whose box has been opened?' The box or packaging is considered more valuable than the product itself. As a consumer, am I supposed to throw it away?
