I called the regional dealer, Göktug Aku Dünyasi, regarding my Varta Battery which failed prematurely, even though it had not reached its six-month expiration date. So, they were like "bring the car in for service," but I'm in an earthquake zone and the car can't move, so I asked for help to come to me. A service representative was sent, and the old battery was replaced with a brand new Varta battery. They assured me that the old battery would be sent for service, and I was asked to pay for the new battery as a precaution. They promised to refund the amount once the replacement was processed under warranty. But like, it's been three months since the incident and every time I hit them up, they don't give me any info or updates on the warranty status. This treatment of taking payment for the new battery without initiating the warranty process does not align with the reputable Varta brand. I'm asking for 1,500 TL to cover the cost of the battery I bought, thinking it would be covered by warranty.
