Varta Battery Failed Before Warranty Expired—Denied Replacement Without Paper Receipt
On December 19, 2023, I purchased a Varta battery, expecting reliability. However, despite having one year left on the warranty, the battery has completely failed and no longer works.
When I contacted customer service for a warranty replacement, they demanded a warranty certificate. I explained that I was never given such a document but that the battery’s serial number and purchase date are in their system. However, they refused to honor the warranty and told me to contact Özerk Petrol Factory instead. When I did, they offered no help either.
This is completely unacceptable! Varta, you can verify my purchase in your system, yet you are refusing to replace my defective battery. I demand an immediate replacement under warranty. Has anyone else faced this issue? I expect a resolution now!
