UPS Delivered My 3D Printer in a Severely Damaged Box

My 3D printer arrived via UPS, and the box was in this condition. I wasn’t home, so my family received the package. When they asked about the damage, they were told it was “punched for easier handling during transport,” which is an unbelievable explanation. The inner carton inside the box was also punctured. Thankfully, the device itself doesn’t appear to be damaged, but because the employees handled it carelessly, the packaging was damaged — and even though they should have filed a report, they instead gave a mocking, dismissive answer.
I’ve been shopping online for years, and this is the first time a package of mine has arrived this damaged. From now on, the moment I hear the name UPS, I will avoid them.
