Uber Charges My Card While Adding It to the App Before Any Ride

Today, about 5 minutes ago, while registering my Yapı Kredi card on the Uber Taksi app, a charge of $1 was deducted from my card even though I hadn't received any service. I saw within the app that this transaction was taken by Uber, and at the same time I received a transaction notification from my bank, but no explanation was given to me regarding this charge.
I am requesting a refund of this $1 charge, which was taken without me completing any ride and for a service I never authorized.
