On May 16, 2026, in Grants Pass, Oregon, I requested Uber rides and added a new credit card to my account. Each time I tried to request a ride, the app showed that the payment with this new card did not go through, so I selected the cash option and paid the drivers in cash for the rides. Despite this, I have now discovered 9 separate Uber charges of $13.95 each on my bank statement, all from that same date, even though the app had indicated that the card payments were unsuccessful and I had already paid in cash. In total, I have been charged on my card for rides that I also paid for in cash. I have tried to contact Uber support through the app, but I am unable to get through because the system says it does not recognize me, so I have not been able to resolve this issue directly with customer service. I have my bank statement available as proof of the 9 charges. I am requesting a full refund of these 9 incorrect credit card charges of $13.95 each that were taken even though I paid for the rides in cash. I kindly ask that this be reviewed and resolved as soon as possible.
