On March 29, 2025, I took a ride with Uber and used a valid promotion that clearly reduced my fare to ₺267. However, the driver charged me ₺520 in cash—nearly double the amount shown in the app. This is not the first time I’ve encountered pricing inconsistencies with Uber, but this time it’s unacceptable. There was no explanation, no receipt that justified the increase, and I had no choice but to pay because the driver demanded it.
To make matters worse, there is no live customer support available to resolve these types of issues quickly. I’ve tried submitting this through the app, but there’s no real human interaction—only automated responses. Uber should not allow drivers to overcharge riders, especially when a promo is clearly applied and the price is already set before the ride begins.
I demand a refund of the overcharged amount and expect Uber to take this matter seriously. This is misleading, unfair, and disappointing. If these overcharges continue and customer service stays unreachable, I see no reason to continue using this app. Fix this and return my money!
