The driver ended the trip only after I exited the vehicle, which I believe caused this incorrect final fare calculation. This was my first time paying for an Uber ride in cash, and throughout the trip, I repeatedly asked the driver how the discount system worked. He told me that the discount did not apply to me as a passenger but was deducted from his earnings, which confused me further.
