THY overbooking refund problem.
Hello,
On the morning of April 16, 2024, we processed overbooking transactions at the THY counter at Istanbul Airport. Ticket number: 2354083501966. We were told that the refund would be made within 5-7 business days. My wife and son also did the same transaction with me. They received their refunds on April 24. A few days later, I provided feedback regarding this issue. (TK-10741688) The response to this feedback was that the refund had been made to my account and to contact my bank. When I spoke with the bank, they informed me that no payment had been received, but they could assist if I provided the EFT reference number. I then created another feedback (TK-10754586). In this feedback, I was again told that the payment had been made, and if the payment had not been received in my account, they requested my credit card statement with limited card information.
1. I had shared my IBAN number for the payment to be made to my account, not to my card.
2. In my last feedback, I asked for the reference number to contact the bank. If the payment was sent to my account, why is this information not being shared with me?
3. The customer representative N**** U. who responded to this last feedback asked for my card number without even understanding what my complaint was. When we postponed our flight, we did not cause this much trouble. Please read the complaints we write properly. What does it mean to ask for a card number unrelated to the issue? I have already specified everything. The lady just responded for the sake of responding. I expect a response regarding this problem as soon as possible.
