Turkish Airlines Gate Change Chaos - Missed Flight, No Refund
I checked in for my Turkish Airlines flight to Kars almost two hours early and handed over my luggage. At the airport, the departure gate changed three times, and while I was waiting at the second gate, I ended up missing my flight at the last moment. I went to the help desk to ask what could be done, but they firmly insisted that no changes could be made. As a result, I had to pay an additional ₺10,000 for a same-day ticket to Trabzon. No exchange or refund was offered. However, a week later, a relative of mine missed the same Kars flight under similar circumstances and was rebooked to Rize without paying anything, simply because they raised their voice at the airport. I don’t understand—should trusting a company in this country be considered a mistake? I now demand a refund for the second ticket I had to purchase to Trabzon. The expenses I incurred after reaching Trabzon are another issue altogether. I was at the airport on time, completed my check-in, and my name was never announced at the previous gate where I had been waiting. In fact, the announcements were unclear and inaudible. Failures on the part of the airline and the airport cost me both time and money. I am requesting compensation.
