Turkish Airlines Flight TK1927 Lost Both My Bags—Customer Service Unhelpful
Yesterday, my father traveled from Istanbul to Birmingham on Turkish Airlines flight TK1927. Unfortunately, both of his suitcases went missing. At the airport, he was given a vague explanation that his bags were "left behind in Turkey." A report was filed, but no clear solution was offered, and my father was sent on his way.
The real frustration began when we contacted Turkish Airlines' customer service. We spoke with seven different representatives, each providing conflicting information. One even claimed that they don't have an office at Birmingham Airport, which added to our confusion. My father made another trip to the airport, only to be told that his luggage was "sent via cargo," an explanation that didn't resolve the issue.
We are extremely disappointed with the inconsistent information and lack of support from Turkish Airlines. We would like the company to quickly locate my father's luggage and improve their customer service communication to prevent others from having similar frustrations.
