On 17.09.2023, our flight from Diyarbakir to Dalaman with a layover was initially scheduled for 09:05 but was changed to 10:15 on 24.08.2023. Based on this new time, I paid for a rental taxi in Dalaman. However, the flight time changed again, and I had to pay extra for the taxi. Due to the flight delay, I ended up paying for the taxi twice.
This was supposed to be a honeymoon trip with my spouse, but unfortunately, it turned into a bad experience for both of us. When we arrived in Istanbul, it was past midnight, and our connecting flight to Istanbul was rescheduled to 4 AM. I had to pay the rental taxi to wait, but the flight was delayed again in Istanbul, causing further issues with the taxi. The taxi driver, understandably, charged us for the 1.5 hours we initially rented the taxi for, but thanks to Turkish Airlines, we ended up paying for an extra 10 hours.
Aside from this inconvenience, our first day of marriage turned into a nightmare, and due to these delays, we lost a day's worth of payment for the hotel we were supposed to stay at. I kindly request that this inconvenience be compensated as soon as possible and that the necessary actions be taken.
