Turkish Airlines Flight Cancellation Resulted in Financial and Emotional Loss
On 06.02.2024, my flight ticket from Ankara to Igdir with reservation code R5ZED3, which I purchased for ₺1312.50, was canceled just 10 minutes before my flight. As a doctor, I absolutely needed to be in Igdir today. Therefore, I urgently had to purchase another ticket for the nearest time and location, and I bought a ticket to Kars for ₺2513.25 through THY's online application with reservation code SQUB7W. Other passengers who were similarly affected were offered a free change for the same Kars flight. Due to THY's irresponsible behavior and because I cannot take any risks due to my job, I suffered both financially and emotionally. I request the immediate reimbursement of my financial loss of ₺1200.75. If my financial loss is not compensated, I will apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee. I hope THY finds a solution to this situation in a manner befitting the company's reputation.
