Turkish Airlines Denied My Pet for Check-in
A month ago, while traveling from Ankara to Cairo, my pet was unjustly and unlawfully denied during check-in. Despite showing all the necessary documents and proving the situation with evidence from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and THY's own website, we couldn't convince the 'uninformed staff' for a whole hour and had to leave my cat in Ankara and proceed to Cairo.
Even though I informed the company about the situation through feedback and proved that all documents were complete with photos, they continue their unfair treatment by responding 'you don't have the document' regarding the existing document.
Although I paid ₺2908 for my cat's travel fee, only ₺2108 was issued to me as a refund voucher, and they say that the ₺2108 I paid under EMD will be refunded. This situation amounts to a misuse of trust. It's as if they are saying 'pay another 20,000₺, go to Ankara, and get your cat.' Everyone in the company seems to have their own rules.
