Turkish Airlines Delivered My Luggage Broken


My luggage was delivered broken. I took the connecting flight Nuremberg-Istanbul-Adana with Turkish Airlines. During a long journey that ended at night, I realized that my luggage was broken. I followed the steps specified on the THY website and reported the situation to the relevant unit. After the issue was investigated, I received an email from Turkish Airlines stating that it was rejected because I had not made a written application in the area due to the visible damage. When I received feedback from THY employees over the phone, the impression I got was that it was a futile effort and that it was not possible for this objection to have a positive outcome. This attitude of the country's most expensive airline and a Star Alliance member company was disappointing.
