Issues with Surname Change Request on THY Flight Booking
In February, I purchased a ticket using my maiden name, a***, for a round trip to Cyprus, with the outbound flight under p**** and the return flight under a***. After getting married, my surname changed to a**** u***. When I requested a surname change on my tickets, a***, which is one of their current excuses, and p****, which managed to handle the surname change request in five minutes, have not resolved my request for days. Turkish Airlines, with whom they are partnered, sent me three nonsensical email responses. I have contacted customer service multiple times. However, in their latest email, they stated that they cannot fulfill this request. For a week now, I have been dedicating time every day to resolve this issue. I have called and emailed numerous times. There is no one who can clearly address my concerns or guide me. The only solution they offer is ticket cancellation. But the ticket I bought in February for ₺2,000 is now around ₺5,800. Instead of solving my issue, they are making it worse. There is no Saliha Atas with my T.C. number in the population registry anymore. The population registry recognizes me as Saliha a*** u*** with my T.C. number, and p**** has accepted this as well, but Turkish Airlines and a*** have not. I am suffering.
