I Missed Turkish Airlines Istanbul-Adana Flight Due to Staff Misguidance

Despite arriving at Istanbul Airport approximately 1 hour before my 09:35 Turkish Airlines flight to Adana, I missed the flight due to the staff's misguidance and lack of knowledge. I went to the domestic flights counter to check in my luggage, but the staff there directed me to ask the central Turkish Airlines staff, claiming that luggage for Adana flights wasn't checked in there. When I asked another staff member, they said they didn't know either. I was then directed to another luggage check-in point, only to be told that I needed to go to the corridor at the back. Time was running out, and when I finally reached the correct place, I was informed that the flight had closed. Despite explaining my situation, I was sent to the 'visitor' area at the far end of the corridor for assistance. There, I was told that luggage needed to be checked in 45 minutes before the flight, and hence, I would not be allowed on the plane. They suggested I leave my luggage at the baggage storage or the lost and found, but by the time I did that, it would be too late to catch the flight. Although I arrived at the airport 1 hour before the flight, my ticket was wasted due to the staff's negligence or lack of information. At the ticket management counter, I was told I could purchase a discounted ticket. When I went to buy it, I was informed that the next available ticket would cost ₺2,400 for the following night. My original ticket, which was already wasted, cost ₺2,000. Eventually, I managed to find a bus ticket, but I lost a day and my plane ticket. Unfortunately, traveling with luggage on Turkish Airlines is a major hassle. It's better to opt for a bus ticket instead.
