Trendyol Sold Me a Cloned Phone and Delayed My Refund After Seller Disappeared
I bought a phone from Trendyol in July for ₺11.000. After using it for a while, I recently received a legal warning via SMS stating that my phone was cloned and deemed illegal. I immediately contacted Trendyol, shared the SMS and a screenshot of the e-government inquiry as requested, and was told to return the phone. They assured me the return process would be approved within two days after delivery. I sent the phone back as instructed, but things did not go as promised. The seller put the phone under review, and Trendyol informed me there was nothing they could do, saying the review process could take about a month. When I asked what part of the phone they are examining and why it took so long, I received no response. Meanwhile, the seller has closed their store on Trendyol and disappeared. I am left without a phone, unable to make calls or conduct my work, and my life is disrupted. Trendyol’s promises of a quick resolution have proven false, leaving me feeling completely let down. As a consumer, I trusted them, but now I am left waiting indefinitely without any accountability.
