Trendyol Refused My Return for a Defective Mini Washing Machine and Sent It Back

I ordered a mini washing machine from Trendyol, sold by Robo Türkiye. However, the product was defective. The button was sunken in and non-functional. I returned the product for a refund, but after making me wait 25 days, my request was denied with the claim that there was no manufacturing defect. (Return code: 7270018141993217). During this time, I urgently needed the product, so I purchased the same item from another platform. When I tried to resolve the issue, Trendyol offered no help. The customer service representatives gave dismissive responses, and although they mentioned a service report existed, I was never provided with it. It feels like they’re asking me to throw away ₺1200.
To make matters worse, the product was returned to me yesterday in the same defective condition. This is beyond frustrating. If the return is rejected, why send the defective product back? Since the product is a mini washing machine, I obviously had to test it upon receiving it. Trendyol claims that testing the product makes it second-hand and thus non-refundable. How is it possible to determine whether an electronic product works without testing it? And if testing makes it second-hand, why wasn’t the product inspected before shipping? This is a blatant violation of consumer rights. I will take this matter to the Consumer Arbitration Board and pursue legal action. This is not about the money; it’s about how easily you cause hardship and then dismiss it by sending back defective products. I will never shop on this site again and will ensure everyone around me deletes their accounts. I promise not to let you earn even ₺1 from me. (I’ve attached pictures of the product before and after the return.)
