The Background: The company Trendy Hayat, managed by Em** and Mer** Özde***, reached out to us with an offer for manufacturing goods, showcasing their work through their Facebook and Instagram profiles. Our initial communication with the company began in June 2022, when Merve reached out to us with an appealing proposal for a product from our range. Despite our initial hesitation, we decided to proceed, expecting professionalism and quality from the company. The Experience: However, our expectations were not met. We found discrepancies between the sample product photos they sent and the actual product. When we finally received the sample product, it was nothing like what we had envisioned and expected. Despite providing them with clear specifications, the sample they delivered was of poor quality and had significant deviations. To make matters worse, instead of addressing the issue with a solution, Trendy Hayat offered a series of excuses, explaining why they couldn't produce the correct sample and subtly pushing us for a full production commitment. The Result: As days turned into weeks and weeks into months, we found ourselves trapped in a cycle of miscommunication, false promises, and substandard outputs. We were left with no choice but to pull out and look for another supplier, having wasted precious time and resources. We sent them over £12,000 for goods which they have failed to deliver and also failed to refund. I want to clarify that our intention is not to malign the reputation of any individual or company. But we find it our duty to alert potential clients of our experience so that they can make an informed choice. As of now, we are pursuing legal actions against Trendy Hayat and have lodged complaints with the local authorities and business bureau. DO NOT USE TRENDY HAYAT. The Takeaway: To all our fellow entrepreneurs and businesses out there, always ensure that you undertake thorough due diligence before entering into a business partnership. Trust, but verify.
