Tracelo Took Unauthorized Small Payments Without My Consent

On July 22, 2026, several unauthorized small charges of around $0.60–$0.65 were taken from my account by Tracelo for a cell phone tracking service that I did not knowingly authorize. Afterwards, they also attempted to charge $49.00, which thankfully Venmo declined. When I contacted Tracelo about these unauthorized transactions, they told me they would not refund the small charges, as if it is acceptable to take money in small increments without clear consent. I find this approach completely unacceptable and concerning, and it makes me feel like they believe it is acceptable to “steal” as long as it is in small amounts. I am requesting a full refund of all unauthorized charges related to Tracelo and written confirmation that no further charges will be attempted on my account. I also want this situation investigated so that similar unauthorized charging practices are not repeated.
