I Got Charged Twice by Tracelo Without Consent After Losing My Phone
After I lost my phone, I desperately searched online for solutions to locate it. During this stressful time, I logged into a site that appeared to help with tracking phones. Later, I discovered that Tracelo had withdrawn ₺49 from my account not once, but twice—on May 8 and May 18, 2025.
I never authorized these payments. I didn’t subscribe to anything, and I wasn’t even notified. It’s incredibly frustrating and violating to be charged without clear consent, especially when you’re already vulnerable and trying to recover a lost device.
This kind of shady activity is unacceptable. How is it even legal for a company to withdraw money from someone’s account without clear approval?
This was literally the last money I had in my account. I'm now afraid to search for help online, not knowing who’s going to take advantage next.
I demand a full refund of the ₺98 and urge the authorities to investigate and shut down services like Tracelo that exploit people in crisis. Someone needs to take action.
