I Need a Refund for an Unauthorized Help-Tracelo.com Subscription Renewal Fee


I hold a credit card with Mashreq Bank under the name Mourine Aja**. On 7 June at around 5:00 a.m., an amount of 299 AED was deducted from my card by a merchant named Help-tracelo.com. This payment was taken as if I had an active subscription with them, but I have never knowingly subscribed to their services and I do not have any active subscription of this kind on my phone. I contacted both Mashreq Bank and Help-tracelo.com to understand the reason for this deduction. Help-tracelo.com claimed that I had subscribed to their service about four months ago and that this was a renewal fee because I did not unsubscribe. I strongly dispute this, as I have never used or paid for any service from Tracelo before. The only related thing I can recall is that on 23 January I once searched online for ways to find a misplaced phone, but at no point was I clearly informed that I was entering into a paid subscription, and no subscription notification or earlier charge ever appeared until this 299 AED deduction. I consider this transaction unauthorized and misleading, and I request a full refund of the 299 AED deducted from my Mashreq Bank credit card and the cancellation of any subscription or agreement allegedly made in my name with Help-tracelo.com. I also ask for an investigation into how my card was charged without my clear and explicit consent and for measures to prevent any future similar unauthorized deductions.
