I am the first owner of my vehicle with plate number 21 LA 8**, a 2011 Toyota Yaris, which I have been using without any problems since 2011. On 09.04.2026, I had the front windshield replaced at Çayırcıoğlu Otomotiv Şanlıurfa authorized service with service receipt number 20260409002. After this operation, a serious damage occurred on my vehicle. When the vehicle was delivered to me, I was told that tape had been applied to the roof area to fix the glass and that these tapes should later be removed by me. The fact that an authorized service leaves a part of the job to the customer instead of fully completing the process is in itself unacceptable. Shortly after, the roof paint came off, but only in the areas where the tape was applied. This clearly shows that the damage directly resulted from the service’s application. I also have photographs that clearly document that the paint damage is limited to the taped areas. When I reported the issue to the service, I was met with the approach that “the whole roof must be painted, but you will pay for it”. It is completely unacceptable that the service denies the damage caused by its own practice and tries to place the responsibility and cost on the customer. Such an attitude is in no way compatible with the level of responsibility and reliability expected from an authorized service. The reason we prefer an authorized service is to receive reliable and accountable service under the assurance of the brand. However, this process has clearly shown how far this particular authorized service is from these standards and has seriously shaken my trust in the Toyota authorized service network. I request that the roof of my vehicle be completely repainted and that all related costs, including labor and materials, be fully covered by the authorized service under the control and guarantee of Toyota Türkiye, and that this unfair victimization be eliminated without any cost being reflected to me. I respectfully submit this situation to your attention and expect Toyota Türkiye to take the necessary steps against the authorized service that caused this damage and to ensure that such grievances are not repeated.
